"Lip Sync Battle's" ratings on SPIKE continue to bring sweet music to the network's ears. With 3-day playback factored in, the premiere telecast on Thursday, April 2 drew a record 3.2 million viewers for the channel. This marks the most-watched series premiere in network history and second most-watched original series telecast in channel history.
"Lip Sync Battle" also tallied a 2.0 rating with Adults 18-49, also the second highest all-time for an original series in channel history, exemplifying Spike's mission to broaden its audience.
Other ratings highlights include:
· Through 16 airings (12 on Spike, 2 on BET, 2 on MTV) between Thursday 4/2 and Sunday 4/5 and including all currently available DVR playback, "Lip Sync Battle" has reached 14.8 million viewers including 7.4 million female viewers and 7.6 million Adults 18-49.
· #1 ranked program with Adults 18-49 from 10-11 in all of television and Women 18-49 in the timeslot on cable.
· The premiere drew a 2.2 rating with Women 18-49 - a new record for an original series on Spike.
· The new episode at 10:30pm delivered 2.8 million viewers and 1.8 rating with Adults 18-49.
· Total cumulative cross platform streams to date - 45 million
