Spike TV to Offer Live Coverage of E3 2012, Beg. 6/4

Spike TV and GameTrailers today announced that the biggest news, reveals and announcements at E3 2012 will premiere first during "E3 All Access Live featuring Nerd Machine," the network's live multi-platform coverage of E3 2012.

The live special on Spike TV, in HD, kicks off on Monday, June 4 (noon-5:30pm ET/9:00am-2:30pm PT) followed by a primetime special that night at 10:00-11:00pm ET /7:00-8:00pm PT. Spike TV will broadcast four more live hours on Tuesday, June 5 (noon-4:00pm ET/9:00am-1:00pm PT). "E3 All Access Live" will also be supported through additional digital pre and post shows as well as through online simulcasts, offering fans more than 17 hours of complete multi-platform coverage of E3 2012.

Some of the top gaming news and interviews debuting throughout the network's live special include:

· Exclusive broadcast rights to air the biggest video game press events at E3 including "Xbox: Entertainment Evolved," "The Download: EA 2012 Preview," and "Nintendo All Access Presentation @ E3."

· Exclusive, never-before-seen footage from "Halo 4," the Next "Star Wars" Game, "NBA 2K13," "Resident Evil 6," "Assassin's Creed 3," "PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale," "Borderlands 2," "Tomb Raider," "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance," "The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim: Dawnguard," "Medal Of Honor: Warfighter," "Dishonored," "Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron," "God Of War: Ascension," "Unreal Engine 4," "Aliens: Colonial Marines," "Devil May Cry," "Forza Horizon," "X-Com: Enemy Unknown," "Simcity," "Crysis 3," "Lost Planet 3" and much more.

Spike TV and GameTrailers will also treat fans to a pre-E3 episode of "GTTV with Geoff Keighley," airing tomorrow, May 31 at 1:00am ET/10:00pm PT, which will offer a first look into select elements from Konami's "Pre-E3 show," featuring "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance" as well as exclusive footage of Square Enix's "Tomb Raider," Bethesda's "Dishonored" and other anticipated titles to be announced.

As a part of the network's "All Access" offerings, "E3 All Access Live" will feature an upgraded interactive social media experience using Twitter (#GTE3) and Facebook to engage audience participation and provide up-to-the-minute feedback. Viewers will be encouraged to interact with show hosts in real time by sharing thoughts on new products, participate in opinion polls, view the social conversation surrounding E3 live on-air and ask questions directly to hosts and special guests. They will then be able to receive answers from hosts and guests, view poll results, track the E3 conversation live or see their comments pop up on screen instantaneously.

Spike's E3 expert team, Geoff Keighley, Amanda Mackay, Daniel Kayser, Justine Ezarik and Katie Linendoll, will broadcast all of the top E3 news and announcements from its own E3 studio overlooking the Los Angeles Convention Center and will also be joined by Zac Levi's Nerd Machine to provide viewers with entertaining segments highlighting their adventures throughout Spike TV's coverage of E3. From the E3 show floor, Nerd Machine's Zac Levi, David Coleman and Alison Haislip will give fans at home an exclusive look at what it is like to be on location at the video game industry's most-anticipated event of the year with visits to the top press events, the hottest parties and most exciting areas of E3.
