The Huffingtonpost.com reports that the song list for the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute episode of Fox's popular series GLEE has been revealed. A few weeks ago, it was reported by TV Guide that a dozen of Jackson's greatest hits would be performed on the show, ranging from his earliest days with the Jackson 5 to his most recent singles. TV Guide also revealed that the character of Blaine would be singing 'Wanna Be Startin' Somethin', and Finn and Rachel would share the love ballad, 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You'.
Fox has not confrimed an official list of songs that will be performed for the episode, but Perez Hilton has reportedly obtained the information and leaked it on his site, perezhilton.com.
Here is the reported song list for the episode:
"Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" -- Blaine
"Bad" -- New Directions & Warblers
"I Just Can't Stop Loving You" -- Finn & Rachel
"Smooth Criminal" -- Santana & Sebastian
"Never Can Say Goodbye" -- Quinn
"In The Closet" -- Brittany & Santana
"We Are The World" -- New Directions & Warblers
"Black And White" -- Puck
"Ghost / Monster" -- New Directions
"Beat It / Billie Jean" -- Warblers
"The Way You Make Me Feel" -- Kurt
"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" -- Artie
On the episode, airing January 24, 2012, Glee club leader Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) announces that it will be "Michael Week" at the fictional McKinley High School. The teacher explains that his decision is due to the fact that some of the former Touchstone group members regret being left out of the Michael Jackson medley of songs performed by New Directions at the Sectional competition.
GLEE returns on January 17 at 8 p.m. EST with an all new episode.
