Soccer's 'Copa America Centenario' Semi-Finals & Final Match to be Shown Live in Select U.S. Theaters

In celebration of 100 years of Copa America, the 2016 Copa America Centenario, the Championship of the Americas, will be staged outside of South America for the first time ever this summer. Featuring 16 national teams from the Americas, the centennial edition of the tournament will make soccer history in stadiums across the United States.

The entire 2016 Copa America Centenario will be televised by Fox Sports on FOX broadcast network, FS1, FX and FS2. The two semi-finals and the final match will also be presented by Fathom Events in select movie theaters nationwide. The First Semi-Final will be shown live on Tuesday, June 21 (9:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. CT / 7:00 p.m. MT / 6:00 p.m. PT), followed by the Second Semi-Final on Wednesday, June 22 (8:00 p.m. ET). The 2016 Final will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 26 (8:00 p.m. ET) from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. In-theater events will begin by featuring the final portion of FOX Sports' Copa America Centenario Pregame, 30 minutes prior to each kickoff.

Tickets for the Copa America Centenario cinema events can be purchased beginning Friday, May 20, 2016 online by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in select movie theaters through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network. The Copa America is the oldest international soccer tournament in the world and the 2016 Copa America Centenario will be the largest men's soccer tournament held in the U.S. since the 1994 World Cup. The competition begins with a round-robin stage featuring four groups of four teams Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the U.S. are the top-seeded teams in each of these groups. Group A contains the U.S., Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay; Group B consists of Brazil, Ecuador, Haiti and Peru; Group C is made up of Mexico, Uruguay, Jamaica and Venezuela; and Group D is comprised of Argentina, Chile, Panama and Bolivia. The tournament's host metropolitan areas and stadiums are: Foxborough, MA (Gillette Stadium), Chicago (Soldier Field), Houston (NRG Stadium), Pasadena (Rose Bowl), New York/New Jersey (MetLife Stadium), Orlando (Orlando CITRUS BOWL Stadium), Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field), Phoenix/Glendale (University of Phoenix Stadium), Santa Clara, CA (Levi's Stadium) and Seattle (CenturyLink Field).
