SnowGlobe 2018 Big Air Highlights Regional Professional + Amateur Skiers + Riders

The 8th Annual SnowGlobe Big Air, Lake Tahoe's largest man-made feature, highlights over two dozen pro and amateur skiers and snowboarders from across the region. Athletes will drop out of the DARKNESS on a scaffolding tower, coming down and hitting a jump launching over 30 feet above the crowd. As they throw down 540's, 720's, corks and a variation of flips, spins and grabs they fly more than 40 feet in distance with the creative SnowGlobe lighting pointed right at the athletes, resulting in the most unique visuals you've ever seen at a music festival. This year's sports exhibitions will also include a rail jam feature to showcase the full spectrum of talent these athletes have to offer.

Alex Dorzynski - Pro Skier
Alex Dorzynski aka Shugz is a lifelong mountain man of a rare breed some call a ski bum. He's been a part of the SnowGlobe Big Air from the beginning and stepped up his support by helping our crew to build the jump for the past 5 years! He's more concerned with where his next ski turns will be than his next meal. Shugz is dedicated to life on the road, chasing cold smoke, tall beers and CRASHING on couches around the world. Robby Franco - Pro Skier
Robby has been topping podiums and sharing his talents at the SnowGlobe Big Air for years! He is currently training for the Olympics out of Colorado and will be skiing for the Mexico Olympic Ski Team as a dual citizen. He's taking a break from training to return to the SnowGlobe Big Air this New Year's Eve!

Ty Dayberry - Pro Tele-Skier
Ty is a pro teli-skier who grew up in South Lake Tahoe, CA and has been telemark skiing for 20 years. Not only has he landed on top of the podium in every freestyle discipline that exists within freeheel skiing, he's been part of the SnowGlobe Big Air every single year. You can catch him in Telemark's movie Future Freeheal, as he continues to rep for sponsors that keep his dream alive - Sierra-at-Tahoe, K2 Skis, Guayaki Yerba Nate, Freeheel Life, 22 designs, Tomahawk Int + Scarpa.

Adam Lechner - Snowboarder
Born + raised in Long Beach, CA. From the beach to the mountains Adam lights up smiles by boarding, dancing and spreading positive vibes. Boreal Mountain is where he's found on most days, where the tailgate doesn't stop for all non-globe moments in the winter.

Andrew Eells (Shaggy) - Skier
Everyday Andrew Eells, aka Shaggy, is on ski's he has the biggest smile on the mountain. He's known best for always sending it big, charging hard and enjoys skiing with friends. Shaggy thinks Sierra is the best mountain in Tahoe and has so much fun each year with the SnowGlobe shred crew.

Benjamin Wynn - Snowboarder
Ben is an incredible amateur athlete from South Lake Tahoe, California. He's been riding for over 22 years, currently calls Sierra-at-Tahoe his home mountain and rides for Shoreline of Tahoe, Mountain Menace and BFC.

Leo + Otto Trebotich - Skiers / Brothers
Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, Leo has been skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe since he was 2 years old. He's been on the SnowGlobe Big Air roster for the past 5 years and will be joined by his brother, Otto Trebotich this year! He loves mountain biking, skiing and cliff jumping.
