An all-new episode of OWN's popular drama series GREENLEAF tonight, July 13 (10-11 p.m. ET/PT) features Oprah Winfrey in a recurring role as Mavis McCready and Grace's (Merle Dandridge) return to preaching for the first time since her return home. The acclaimed drama premiered to record ratings earlier this summer, BECOMING OWN's #1 series debut and is currently the summer's #1 new cable series among women and total viewers, with the season averaging over 3 million viewers in Live+3.

In Wednesday's upcoming episode, the Bishop (Keith David, "Community") -- despite protestations from both Grace (Merle Dandridge, "The Night Shift") and Lady Mae (Lynn Whitfield, "The Josephine Baker Story") -- appoints Grace to PREACH on Sunday in his absence, forcing Grace to deal with her conflicted feelings about returning to the pulpit and forcing Lady Mae to admit that the Bishop blames her for her daughter's death. Meanwhile, Jacob's (Lamman Rucker, "Meet the Browns") plans to score a television deal to broadcast Calvary services in an attempt to get reinstated takes an unexpected turn when the television executive takes a liking to Kerissa (Kim Hawthorne, "Rake"). Additionally, Kevin's (Tye White, "The People v. OJ Simpson: AMERICAN CRIME Story") flippant advice to Charity (Deborah Joy Winans, "Whitney") on how to hire a new music director backfires, bringing up some of Kevin's deep-seated issues. And, Mavis (Oprah Winfrey, "Selma"), has a heart to heart with Bishop Greenleaf about Grace's true intentions now that she's returned home.

About "Greenleaf" The new original drama series from award-winning writer/producer Craig Wright ("Lost," "Six Feet Under"), executive producers Oprah Winfrey ("Selma") and Clement Virgo ("The Book of Negroes"), "Greenleaf" takes viewers into the unscrupulous world of the Greenleaf family and their sprawling Memphis megachurch, where scandalous SECRETS AND LIES are as numerous as the faithful. Born of the church, the Greenleaf family love and care for each other, but beneath the surface lies a den of iniquity -- greed, adultery, sibling rivalry and conflicting values -- that threatens to tear apart the very core of their faith that holds them together. "Greenleaf" stars Merle Dandridge ("The Night Shift") as Grace Greenleaf; Keith David ("Community") as Bishop James Greenleaf; Lynn Whitfield ("The Josephine Baker Story") as Lady Mae Greenleaf; Kim Hawthorne ("Rake") as Kerissa Greenleaf; Lamman Rucker ("Meet the Browns") as Jacob Greenleaf; Tye White ("The People v. O.J. Simpson: AMERICAN CRIME Story") as Kevin Satterlee; Deborah Joy Winans ("Whitney") as Charity Greenleaf-Satterlee; Desiree Ross ("Falling Skies") as Sophia; and Oprah Winfrey ("Selma") in a recurring role as Mavis McCready.
