Sienna Miller has been named ShoWest Supporting Actress
of the Year, it was announced today by Mitch Neuhauser, co-managing
director of the event, which will be held March 30-April 2, 2009, in
Las Vegas. Miller will be presented with the ShoWest Supporting
Actress of the Year Award at ShoWest's Final Night Banquet and Award
Ceremony on Thursday, April 2nd, at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas.
"From 'Alfie to 'Factory Girl' to 'Interview,' Ms. Miller has shown an
incredibly wide range of acting talent and now with 'G.I. Joe: The
Rise of Cobra,' I'm sure she is simply going to blow us all away as
she takes on an action role in what is sure to be one of this summer's
big box-office attractions," said Neuhauser. "ShoWest is honored to
be able to single out Sienna Miller as its 2009 Supporting Actress of
the Year."
Miller can next be seen when Paramount Pictures and Hasbro, whose
previous collaboration was the worldwide blockbuster "TRANSFORMERS,"

action-adventure "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra." From the Egyptian
desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite G.I. JOE team uses
the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the
corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious
Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos.
"G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" is directed by Stephen Sommers ("The
Mummy," "The Mummy Returns"). The film will be released on August 7,
2009.

television and on the stage. She has captivated audiences on the big
screen with her film debut in Layer Cake, the Matthew Vaughn hit film,
and her roles in such movies as; Alfie, opposite Jude Law; Casanova,
opposite Heath Ledger, as the iconic Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl;

it,' which received rave reviews. She will make her Broadway debut
this fall in Patrick Marber's 'After Miss Julie'. In addition to G.I.
Joe: Rise of Cobra, she can also be seen later this year in The
Mysteries of Pittsburgh, based on the novel by Michael
