Oscar winner and beloved actress, Shirley MacLaine, is reportedly in talks to join BRIDESMAIDES' Melissa McCarthy in the upcoming road-trip flick, TAMMY. MacLaine is said to have been offered the role, and is having a one-on-one with McCarthy, who also co-wrote the movie for New Line, tonight.
Co-written with her husband, BEN FALCONE, TAMMY follows a woman who's suddenly fired from Hardee's, discovers her husband is cheating, and decides to go on a road trip with her drunken, cursing grandmother.
