As Evil Does, a feature film written and directed by Yolanda Buggs, creatively tells the story of two young "Saints Witnesses" Christian evangelists on a friendly pursuit of conversation about religion and God, who unknowingly ring the doorbell of a staunch atheist. They are invited in for what they believe will be a friendly discussion and perhaps some soul healing. When the conversation about the existence of God takes a dark, sinister turn for the worse, all hell breaks loose, resulting in supernatural forces, mayhem and heinous torture.
The film stars veteran actor Bill Cobbs and rising star Dorian Missick, along with Holgie Forrester, Karl Sanders, Alycia Cooper, and Carsyn A. Rutland.
As Evil Does marks Bill Cobbs' executive producing debut. The film is also produced by Andretta Hamilton, Dorian Missick and Wayne Overstreet. As Evil Does will be featured at the Pan African Film Festival, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 6pm and again on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1:20pm. "No filmmaker is an island. Without the support of generous investors and donors, a talented cast and crew, completing an independent film would not be possible," states Yolanda Buggs, film writer and director.
