Syfy's hit original series Eureka has added to its growing list of guest stars for the second half of the show's 4th season. Wallace Shawn (Toy Story features, Gossip Girl), Dave Foley (NewsRadio, Kids in the Hall) and Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica) join previously announced guest stars Wil Wheaton, Felicia Day, Ming-Na, and Stan Lee.  Season 4.5 of Eureka will air on Syfy in 2011 (return date TBA).

Wallace Shawn will portray Warren Hughes, a relationship auditor sent to Eureka to shadow and report on Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) and Allison Blake (Salli Richardson- Whitfield). Aaron Douglas appears as Ray, the exuberant leader of "Galaxy Camp." And Dave Foley will appear in the season 4.5 finale as Drew Plotkin, a former weapons specialist turned eco-scientist whose research may be wreaking havoc in Eureka.

A holiday episode of Eureka will premiere on Tuesday, December 7 at 9/8c as part of Syfy's first-ever "Christmas Week." This special episode will feature guest stars Chris Parnell (30 Rock, Saturday Night Live) and former series regular Matt Frewer as Taggert.

Eureka seems like any other cozy, Pacific Northwest town, but is actually a secret community of geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research. What they've unwittingly created is a place where anything imaginable can happen... and does. Eureka stars Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Joe Morton, Erica Cerra, Neil Grayston, Niall Matter, and features Jordon Hinson. Co-creator Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller are Executive Producers and the series is produced by Universal Cable Productions.

Season 4.0 of Eureka aired over the summer and ranked as the show's most-watched half season ever averaging 3.155 million viewers per week (included Live +7 data). The show has been renewed for a 5th season.

Universal Cable Productions creates quality content across multiple media platforms for USA, Syfy and other networks. A leader in innovative and critically acclaimed programming, UCP is the studio behind USA's Royal Pains, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Psych, In Plain Sight, Covert Affairs and Fairly Legal, along with Syfy's Eureka, Warehouse 13 and Caprica. The studio also produced both long-running series Monk and Battlestar Galactica. UCP is a division of NBC Universal.

Syfy is a media destination for imagination-based entertainment. With year round acclaimed original series, events, blockbuster movies, classic science fiction and fantasy programming, a dynamic Web site (www.Syfy.com), and a portfolio of adjacent business (Syfy Ventures), Syfy is a passport to limitless possibilities. Originally launched in 1992 as SCI FI Channel, and currently in more than 98 million homes, Syfy is a network of NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. (Syfy. Imagine greater.)
