Shailene Woodley Reveals She'd Love to Be in 'Dream' Musical Film Like ONCE

Hollywood 'it' girl Shailene Woodley appears on the latest cover of Women's Health magazine, which hits newsstands on June 24th. In the feature story, the 22-year-old actress shares that she'd love to portray Stevie Nicks and star in a musical film such as 'Once.'

Says the 'Fault in Our Stars' actress, "I would love to play Stevie Nicks. She's just such a fascinating woman who's lived such a life and is still living such a life. Her music was really profound for me in my life. Yeah I think it'd be an adventure to play Stevie Nicks. I love that there is no other Stevie Nicks in this world. She is so fully herself, and undividedly herself. That in itself is such a powerful lesson to take in and be like, 'wow.' No one is going to be the next Stevie Nicks and Stevie Nicks was next the next anyone. And I think that's such beautiful advice for all of us. You do you, we do we. She does she in such a beautiful way."

Woodley adds, "I think it'd be great to sing in a film. I love to sing. I guess another dream movie would be a movie like Once. It's so romantic and sensual and musical but doesn't feel like a musical necessarily."

Shailene portrayed Amy Juergens in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008-2013) and co-starred alongside George Clooney in the 2011 film The Descendants. She played Felicity Merriman in the 2005 film Felicity: An American Girl Adventure.

In 2014, Woodley starred in three films: as Kat Conner in White Bird in a Blizzard,Beatrice "Tris" Prior in the adaptation of Veronica Roth's novel Divergent, and as Hazel Grace Lancaster in The Fault in Our Stars, based on the novel of the same name by John Green.

For her performance in The Descendants, she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture. In the film The Spectacular Now, she won the Special Jury Award for Acting at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
