ABC's "The View" averaged 2.674 million Total Viewers, 423,000 Women 25-54 and 286,000 Women 18-49, during the week of Oct. 15, 2018, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" beat CBS' "The Talk" (2.235 million, 367,000 and 265,000, respectively) during the week in Total Viewers (+439,000), Women 25-54 (+56,000) and Women 18-49 (+21,000).
"The View" increased its Total Viewer advantage over "The Talk" versus the same week last year (+33% - 439,000 vs. 331,000 for w/o 10/16/17).
Season to date, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" across the board: Total Viewers (+570,000 - 2.864 million vs. 2.294 million), Women 25-54 (+85,000 - 451,000 vs. 366,000) and Women 18- 49 (+47,000 - 315,000 vs. 268,000). In fact, "The View" is increasing its Total Viewer lead over "The Talk" compared to last season (+72% - 570,000 vs. 332,000) to its largest in 6 years - since the 2012-13 season.
In addition, "The View" is improving compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers (+1% - 2.864 million vs. 2.823 million) seeing its most-watched season in 4 years - since the 2014-15 season.
