After breaking ratings and audience records in 2013, DIY Network is off to a strong start in 2014 with the breakout hit Rev Run's Renovation. The series finished its first season ranking as the third most-watched program on the network this year to date among P18-49 and W18-49. More than 4.4 million viewers tuned in to watchJoseph Simmons (a.k.a. Rev Run from the iconic rap group Run DMC), his wife Justine and a team of builders completely renovate their 9,000 square foot New Jersey home. The 10-episode arc aired back-to-back on Saturdays at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT from January 4 through February 1 -- achieving triple digit growth versus all benchmarks, including a 107% increase among P25-54 impressions and a 215% increase among P18-49 impressions.
Rev Run's Renovation attracted the fourth largest upscale female audience on
DIY Network this year. In addition, Nielsen Social Guide reported that the series was the #1 most-tweeted
DIY Network prime program, generating 9,345 unique tweets about the series.
