12-year-old Jonael Santiago, winner of the third season of LA VOZ KIDS debuts his first single during the second gala of the singing competition airing tonight, June 26 at 8pm/7c on TELEMUNDO. The song "Sonrie a la Vida" (Smile to Life) was written exclusively for Jonael by renowned songwriter Chris Hierro, who has worked with Latin music stars Alejandro Sanz, Jerry Rivera and Obie Bermudez, among others, and will be released by Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Since winning the title of the singing competition, the 12-year old has worked with some of the biggest Latin music stars, including Romeo Santos and Natalia Jimenez, and was featured in the hit music video "Santa de Mi Devocion" by Reggaeton duo, Alexis & Fido.

He also performed on TELEMUNDO's highly-rated "Premios Tu Mundo" (Your World Awards) singing a new version of "Stand By Me." This year, he was honored with a special award as the "Best Young International Vocal Artist" during the First Annual Young Entertainer Awards held at the Globe Theatre in Universal Studios Hollywood.
