Seacoast Repertory Theatre and Let's "B" Reel have announced that their award winning Red Light series will be presenting the horror comedy, Leprechaun tonight, March 18th, 2015 at 7:30Pm at Seacoast Repertory Theatre. In addition to the "St. Patrick's Day Hangover" screening, audience members will be encouraged to try their hand at the "Pot of Gold Guessing Game", where one "lucky" contestant will be selected to participate and win some Leprechaun inspired prizes...

"Leprechaun was an obvious choice for March and St. Patrick's Day, we wanted to pay homage to one of the only St. Patty's Day themed Horror films... " says Knate Higgins, special series curator at The Rep. "We are playing up the "hangover" aspect of the screening, as a tongue in cheek way of saying we are a day late with our screening! (March 18th)".

Leprechaun is the 1993 horror-comedy starring Warwick Davis (Stars Wars, Harry Potter, Willow) as the evil title character, who after having his gold stolen from him and locked away, escapes and terrorizes a group of teens who set him free. One of those teens, is Jennifer Aniston (Friends) in her first major film role. The plot, as one may expect, is just as ridiculous as it sounds. But what the films lacks in plot, it makes up for in visuals and hilarious dialogue.

"Bunny (Higgins) and I both suggested Leprechaun for March" says Tim Fife, co-director of Let's "B" Reel. "Both of us groaned at the mention, and that's usually an indicator of the perfect film for LBR..."
