Scott Speedman Signs On to Ryan Murphy's OPEN Pilot for HBO

TVLine reports that Scott Speedman has signed on to the cast of Ryan Murphy's pilot series OPEN. The HBO project is scripted by Murphy and Lauren Gussis and centers on five characters including, "a thirtysomething married couple, the husband's male co-worker and a female yoga professional in her 40s."

According to the report, Speedman will take on the role of Jonathan, described as, "an attractive sports-marketing executive."

The actor was recently seen in the ill-fated ABC drama Last Resort. He is best known for his role as "Ben' opposite Keri Russell in 'Felicity.' His film credits include the The Vow and The Strangers.
