TVline reports that Scott Foley will recur on the hit ABC drama series SCANDAL. While no details on the actor's role have been revealed, sources confirm that his appearance will involve a major story arc which will unfold towards the end of the show's current season.
The actor had a two-season run on Shonda Rhimes 'Grey's Anatomy.' At the time, the creator told TVLine, "We're so in love with Scott Foley. And we would've kept him [on Grey's] if we could."
Foley had been shooting a midseason comedy, 'Goodwin Games' for FOX which was prematurely ended. FOX president Kevin Reilly said last week that the series seven produced episodes might air this summer.
Foley is best known for roles in television shows such as The Unit and Felicity, and in films such as Scream 3. He has also guest starred in the series Dawson's Creek, House, Scrubs, and more recently, Cougar Town, Grey's Anatomy and True Blood.
