Paul Grant, ESPN.com deputy editor, said, "ESPN.com's team of veteran NHL reporters will be the anchor of our coverage on both digital and social media. They have more 90 years of experience and will be integrated with their assigned teams, enabling them to provide a unique perspective of stories as they are unfolding. ESPN.com's coverage will provide live updates and behind-the-scenes access, in addition to detailed analysis of every game."
Many voices will contribute to ESPN's World Cup of Hockey 2016 coverage on ESPN.com and social media, including Twitter takeovers by current and former NHL players.
In addition to training camp highlights and social media reports, advance tournament coverage on ESPN.com will feature in-depth reports from workouts and pre-tournament games. All content will be available on ESPN.com's World Cup of Hockey 2016 page, launching in early September.
