Morgan Freeman returns to host the final four episodes of the multiple Emmy(R) nominated series THROUGH THE WORMHOLE WITH MORGAN FREEMAN beginning Tuesday, April 25 at 10PM ET/PT on Science Channel. Freeman will challenge audiences once again to think about daring questions while taking a deeper look at the Science behind topics such as hidden forces in the universe, aging, the future of Earth, and gun violence.

THROUGH THE WORMHOLE features some of the world's top Science experts asking and looking for answers to some of our planet's most gripping questions. The season premiere asks IS THE FORCE WITH US? As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, this episode explores new research that is beginning to reveal a hidden force in the universe - one that penetrates space with trillions of invisible connections, instantly linking every place in our world and joining our future with our past.

Since its premiere in 2010, THROUGH THE WORMHOLE, has been one of the most popular series on Science Channel. It has tackled a wide-range of tough and important questions from the existence of god, the Science of racism, life on other planets, the future of robots and many others. Leading scientists featured in the series' run have included Nobel Prize winners Peter Higgs, Saul Perlmutter and Gerard 't Hooft, along with Katherine Freese, Lee Smolin, Max Tegmark, Paul Davies, Michio Kaku and Bob Lanza.

But epidemiologists, psychologists and big data crunchers are discovering that gun crime spreads like a virus -and Science may be able to stop its spread.
