Paramount Home Media Distribution and Vertical Entertainment announced today a collaboration to bring APPROACHING THE UNKNOWN to theatrical and home viewing audiences. Starring Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Luke Wilson (Concussion), Sanaa Lathan (Now You See Me 2), Anders Danielsen Lie (Oslo, August 31st) and Charles Baker ("Breaking Bad"). APPROACHING THE UNKNOWN was written and directed by Mark Elijah Rosenberg, winner of the Sundance Institute / NHK Award (2014).
Vertical Entertainment will handle U.S. theatrical distribution beginning June 3, 2016, day-and-date with Paramount Home Media Distribution's Digital and On Demand release. Paramount will also handle other U.S. ancillary platforms and worldwide distribution excluding Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Middle East, and South Africa.
