Satellite Nominations Announced, 'Nine' Receives 11, 'Glee' Receives 5, Presented 12/20

The Golden Satellite Nominations were announced today and the film version of Maury Yeston's "Nine" received 11 nominations, inclduing Best Motion Picture and Best Director for Rob Marshall. In addition, television favorite "Glee" received 5 nominations including Best Television Series, Best Actor in a Series for Matthew Morrison and Best Actress in a Series Lea Michele

The Satellite Awards are an annual award given by the International Press Academy. The prestentation will take place December 20th at the Grand Salon of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California.
