According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Neill (ALCATRAZ, JURASSIC PARK) and Emmanuelle Chriqui (ENTOURAGE, THE MENTALIST) have officially joined CBS' upcoming drama pilot THE ORDAINED. The pair join Charlie Cox, Jorge Garcia, and Tony award-winner Audra McDonald in the legal thriller.

The project follows Tom (Charlie Cox), "the son of a Kennedy-esque family who leaves the priesthood and becomes a lawyer to prevent his politician sister from being assassinated." Garcia takes on the role of the firm's chief investigator.

Neill will take on the role of Michael Thomas Riley, Tom's father, former Governor of New York, and failed presidential candidate. Now, he's put all of his faith in his daughter's political ambitions.

Chriqui will play Sam, a freespirited writer who's Tom's next-door neighbor.

Lisa Takeuchi Cullen will write the script and executive produce along with Frank Marshall, Larry Shuman and A.B. Fischer. RJ Cutler will direct the pilot episode.
