For the second consecutive week, SURVIVOR hit a season high in viewers while matching last week's season best adult 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 2.

SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC was first in households (7.0/11), viewers (11.87m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/10). SURVIVOR posted its largest audience since Dec. 15, 2010, best adults 18-34 rating (2.0/10) since April 6, 2011 and matched last week's season high in adults 18-49.

CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.0/12) and viewers (12.80m) while averaging 4.6/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.6/09 in adults 18-49.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.64m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.5/08, with ABC) and second in adults 18-49 (2.7/07). Compared to the last first-run episode (on Oct. 19, 2011), CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/07) and even in adults 25-54.

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.2/11), viewers (11.77m), second in adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and averaged 3.3/09 in adults 18-49.

Updated Wednesday ratings will be available this afternoon.

Note: DVR penetration is at 42%, up from 38% last year. Last fall, Live+7 audiences for original entertainment series on CBS gained over 1.8 million viewers, on average, over Live+ Same Day ratings, more than any other network. This season, we expect DVR penetration to continue to increase and, as a result, we expect DVR playback audiences to grow as well.
