The 2016 MTV MOVIE AWARDS, hosted by Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, aired last night Sunday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT from outdoors on the Warner Bros. backlot in Burbank, Calif.
This year's list of presenters included Jessica Chastain, Cara Delevingne, Zac Efron, Chris Evans, Gigi Hadid, Chris Hemsworth, Kendrick Lamar, Jared Leto, Olivia Munn, Eddie Redmayne, Margot Robbie, Seth Rogen, Will Smith and Charlize Theron. Ariana Grande and Halsey also performed at the event.
Following in the tradition of the show, first time footage of highly anticipated films was shared with viewers. This year's entries included Captain America: Civil War, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Suicide Squad.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens topped this year's nominations with 11, followed by Deadpool (8), Avengers: Age of
Ultron (6), Mad Max: Fury Road (4), Pitch Perfect 2 (4), The Revenant (4) and Trainwreck (4).
