A rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET), with host Seth Rogen and musical guest Ed Sheeran, delivered a high since March 8 in 18-49 rating for an "SNL" rebroadcast in this time period and a high since Feb. 1 in total viewers. The 1.0 rating in 18-49 is the top Primetime result of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. The 10 p.m. "SNL" encore won the slot in adults 18-49, adults, men and women 25-54 and other key demos and grew from half-hour to half-hour by +10% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 1.0) and +8% in adults 25-54 (1.3 vs. 1.2), despite the 10 p.m. hour.
Week to week, the 10 p.m. "SNL" encore is up +25% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.8) and up +19% in total viewers (3.325 million vs. 2.791 million).
"Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) grew week to week by +14% in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 from a 0.7), +10% in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.0) and +25 or nearly a million person in total viewers (4.901 million vs. 3.920 million). From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" grew by +83% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.6), by +88% in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 0.8) and by +49% or 1.9 million persons in total viewers (5.8 million vs. 3.9 million).
"Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" is the #1 Primetime telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in total viewers and is tied for #2 in 18-49 (with CBS's 10-11 p.m. "48 Hours"), behind only the 10 p.m. "SNL" encore. "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" won its two-hour slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures.
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:
"Saturday Night Live," with host Andy Samberg and musical guest St. Vincent, averaged a 4.0/10 in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 2.1/10 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, making it the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in metered-market households and in 18-49 in the Local People Meters, ahead of all Primetime programs on the Big 4 networks in both measures.
It's the top "Saturday Night Live" in metered-market households since April 5 (with host Anna Kendrick and musical guest Pharrell, 4.0/10) and equals the "SNL" high since March 8 (with host Lena Dunham and musical guest The National, 4.1/11).
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, this week's 2.1 rating is the show's high since April 12 (with host Seth Rogen and musical guest Ed Sheeran, 2.1/10) and matches the high since April 5 (with host Anna Kendrick and musical guest Pharrell, 2.2/10).
