"Saturday Night Live," with host John Goodman and musical guest Kings of Leon, averaged a 4.5/11 in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 2.1/9 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, making it the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in both metered-market households and 18-49 rating in the Local People Meters, topping all Primetime programming on those networks in both categories.
Saturday Primetime Results:
A rebroadcast of "The Sound of Music Live!" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall from 8-11 p.m. ET. This is NBC's highest-rated Saturday in 18-49 in four weeks (since Nov. 16) and top Saturday in total viewers in five weeks (since Nov. 7). From its first hour to its third, the "Sound of Music Live!" rebroadcast grew by 0.2 of a point or 40% in adults 18-49 (to a 0.7 from a 0.5), by 50% in adults 25-54 (0.9 vs. 0.6) and 27% in total viewers (3.4 million vs. 2.7 million).
