SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's Don Roy King won the Emmy for OUTSTANDING DIRECTING FOR A VARIETY SERIES.

Check out his acceptance speech below.

DON ROY KING: This is an embarrassment of riches. I was honored just to be on the same list with those other fine and funny directors. But I have a job I love. I get to work with Lorne Michaels and the best television all?star team in the world. We get paid to make people laugh and clap.

I have a 16?year?old daughter Cami (phonetic), who I adore. She goes to LaGuardia High School in Manhattan. And she her super talented friends think I'm kind of cool. I could be wrong about that one. But I do have a 93?year?old Aunt Peggy who's just as sharp and funny and pretty as Betty White and she thinks I'm cool because of what I do. And on top of that, you guys give me a gold statue. Life is good. Thank you so much.
