Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Welcome Baby Girl!

The New York Post reports the joyous news that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed a baby girl, who arrived a little earlier than expected.

The actress gave birth to the bundle of joy, the first for the couple, just before the New Year near their home in Bedford, NY. Both mother and child are doing well.

Speaking on the upcoming deliver in October, the 27-year old actress told Us Weekly, "Its something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl...I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here."

A rep for Lively, Leslie Sloane declined to comment on the report.

The A-list couple were wed in September 2012, at Charleston, South Carolina's historic Boone Hall Plantation.

Lively starred as Serena van der Woodsen in The CW teen drama series Gossip Girl, and has appeared in such films as THE SISTERHOOD of the Traveling Pants, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, The Town, Green Lantern, Accepted and Savages.
