Roland S. Martin, host and managing editor of TV ONE'S News One Now, the only daily news show program targeting Black viewers, will host co-founder of Def Jam Records Russell Simmons during today's live broadcast (7-8 a.m. ET). The entertainment mogul and humanitarian released an open letter posted on GlobalGrind.com giving harsh criticism to the campaign strategy of close friend and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The thought provoking letter both praised the real estate tycoon's accomplishments and admonished several of Trump's views expressed throughout his campaign - principally on Islam and Muslims - which Simmons believes are a "total embarrassment." Tomorrow's interview will seek explore the inspiration behind the open letter and what Simmons hopes will be accomplished as Trump continues on his campaign.
