Deadline reports that Rosemarie DeWitt will join Frances McDormand and Richard Jenkins in HBO's OLIVE KITTERIDGE miniseries, directed by Lisa Cholodenko.

Based on the book by Elizabeth Strout, OLIVE KITTERIDGE is written by Jane Anderson and centers on Olive (McDormand), who lives in a New England town full of affairs, crime and tragedy. Zoe Kazan, Jesse Plemons, and John Gallagher, Jr. also recently boarded the series.

DeWitt will take on the role of "Rachel Coulson, a fragile shut-in who is one of Henry's (Jenkins) customers at the pharmacy."

DeWitt was last seen in Promised Land and Touch Feely, and will next be seen in The Dramatics. Past credits include The Odd Life of Timothy Green, The Company Men, Rachel Getting Married and Cinderella Man, as well as TV's United States of Tara, Mad Men and Standoff. She has also signed on to lead the upcoming remake of Poltergeist.
