The "Last Comic Standing" is finally revealed when NBC's popular series comes to a close with a must-see, two-hour finale filled with hilarious performances on Thursday, August 14 (9-11 p.m. ET). Roseanne Barr and Russell Peters, who along with fellow judge Keenen Ivory Wayans have helped whittle down the top 100 comics in America to the final three, will perform along with the three finalists vying for the coveted title of "Last Comic Standing."
It's down to the last three comics - Nikki Carr (Bronx, NY), Lachlan Patterson (Vancouver, B.C.) and Rod Man (Villa Rica, GA) - and the stakes have never been higher. The season began with
The 100 best comics in America, handpicked by producer to audition by invitation only. Then one by one, through unforgettable performances and fun challenges that tested the comics in a variety of comedy disciplines, the funniest three emerged, chosen by powerhouse judges
Roseanne Barr,
Keenen Ivory Wayans and
Russell Peters.
The three finalists give it their all performing their final, funniest sets after making viewers laugh week after week with their own unique styles of comedy. Later, comedy icons Roseanne and Russell each take the stage and perform, as does Alingon Mitra, the winner of the "Last Comic Standing" 'Comic Comeback' online competition.
Then it's the moment viewers have been waiting for, when the judges choose who will win the coveted title of "Last Comic Standing," and an incredible prize package worth $250,000, including a cash prize, a talent deal and a development deal for a television show.
