Award winning comedian Rose Matafeo brings her critically-acclaimed, BARRY Award nominated hit show Horndog to London's Soho Theatre from 17th to 29th September following a critically-acclaimed, sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Rose has kissed nearly 10 men in her life making her a total horn dog. Championing horn dogs across the globe, Rose will guide you through the frenetic world of her teenage years in a whirlwind of stand-up, sketch and mid 20s angst as she tackles sex education, MSN Messenger, and why she was kicked out of a Franz Ferdinand fan group.
Horndog has enjoyed successful performances around the world with sell-out shows at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, a BARRY Award nominated run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and most recently at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where the show was simultaneously highlighted as one of the best shows at the Fringe in the Guardian, Vogue, Evening Standard, The Mirror, Chortle, and British Comedy Guide.
Rose is a regular face on TV having featured on Have I Got News For You (BBC One), W1A (BBC One), Unspun with Matt Forde (Dave), and is set to appear on Jon Richardson's Ultimate Worrier (Dave) in the UK, while in New Zealand Rose is the head writer and star of FUNNY GIRLS (TV3) which is in its third series, and a regular on panel show 7 Days (Three Now NZ). Rose has acted in Liam Williams' web series Pls Like (BBC Three) and starred in an episode of Tom Craine's Climaxed (BBC Three).
Rose started stand-up at the age of 15 and has since staged five solo shows as part of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
