Known for its originality and innovation, the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm®, will highlight for the first time in Spanish-language television the growing musical wave titled Electronic Dance Music (EDM), with a special performance by world-renowned DJ Afrojack. The awards show will also include performances by "The King of Bachata" Romeo Santos, Colombian rocker Juanes, and Spanish singer and "La Voz Kids" Coach Natalia Jimenez, who join previously announced performances by Wisin, Daddy Yankee, Carlos Santana, J Balvin, Carlos Vives, Julion Alvarez y Su Norteño Banda, Ana Gabriel, Lucero, Alejandro Sanz, and Roberto Carlos. The longest-running and most prestigious awards show in the Latin music world will be produced and broadcast live by Telemundo on Thursday, April 30 at 7pm/6c from BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida.

Afrojack, one of the 10 most important DJs in the world according to DJ Mag, will bring electronic dance music, known as EDM, to the stage of the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Afrojack, who has collaborated with prominent artists like David Guetta ("Titanium"), Madonna ("Revolver"), Chris Brown ("Look At Me Now"), and Beyonce ("Run The World" Girls), reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 2011 as co-author and producer on Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," which featured him, Ne-Yo and Nayer. His 2014 album "Forget The World" debuted at No. 2 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
Romeo Santos, also known as "The King of Bachata," enjoyed a stellar year with a sold-out tour that included an unprecedented two-night stint at Yankee Stadium, and ended up 2014 atop the music charts. The prolific singer, songwriter and producer tops the list of finalists this year with 21 entries. Santos has seven No. 1s on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. His single "Odio" featuring Drake spent 13 weeks atop the list, his longest running No. 1 song. On the Billboard Hot 100, "Odio" was the highest debut for a Spanish-language song in the 55-year history of the chart, when it arrived at No. 45. His album "Formula, Vol. 2" debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart and spent 11 weeks atop the list.
With seven solo albums, and multi-platinum sales exceeding 16 million copies, Colombian singer, and songwriterJuanes is one of the biggest Spanish-language rock artists in the world. He holds 16 top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. The song "La Luz," from his latest studio album "Loco De Amor," reached No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart on March 15, 2014. He has achieved nine total No. 1s on the chart. "Loco De Amor" also debuted at No. 1 on the Latin Pop Albums chart.
Spanish pop singer Natalia Jimenez returned as Coach on TELEMUNDO's highly successful reality music competition "La Voz Kids," now in its third season. She released her latest solo album last month titled "Creo En Mi." Her song by the same name, "Creo En Mi," debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. The album's title track reached No. 2 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart, while "Quedate Con Ella" reached No. 4 on the same chart.
