Romantic Comedy INSIDE YOU to Screen at UCB East Theater Next Month

INSIDE YOU, the hilarious romantic comedy starring writer/director/actress Heather Fink, Christian Finnegan (Vh1's Best Week Ever, Comedy Central), Marshall Stratton (ABC's What Would You Do?) and more members of the stand up and improv community, will be screening at UCB East Theater in NYC Tuesday September 5th at 10:30 PM. The film, which revolves around a couple that switches bodies after the use of a magical sex toy, is one that you do not want to miss! Inside You is Fink's first feature film as writer and director and was recently announced as a selection in the Kew Gardens Film Festival which will show this Sunday August 6th at 8:30pm. Heather Fink: writer/director/STAR
Heather Fink came to filmmaking from comedy. She has been making funny videos since she was a kid growing up in small town New Jersey, raised by a Dutch mother, Jewish American father, schizophrenic grandmother, and an older sister. She started performing standup comedy in NYC in 2005, and continued making funny videos, doing improv, and sketch comedy. In 2009 she began NYU's Grad Film program as Writer/Director. She currently pays the bills as a Sound Person, most recently working on Marvel's DAREDEVIL and Baz Luhrmann's The Get Down. Previous jobs include PR for a gay porn company, Senator KENNEDY Intern, and Content Strategy for Digital Media companies.

She's directed over 35 comedy shorts, most recently Sara Benincasa's "The Focus Group," which was featured on Hello Giggles, The Onion, Huffington Post, Refinery 29, and more. She also participated in the 2016 Sony Pictures Television Diverse Directors Program. Her first feature film as writer/director "InsideYou" has just completed Post-Production and is currently being submitted to festivals for 2017. Heather also directed the indie TV pilot "Urban Teach Now" for writer/producers SJ & Ginny, which was an official selection at the NYTV Fest and ITV Fest in October 2016.

As a filmmaker she's directed top comedy talents including HANNIBAL Buress, Griffin Newman, Himanshu Suri, Zach Cregger, Angela Trimbur, Will Hines, Kevin Allison, Sara Benincasa, Will Janowitz, Curtis Gwinn, Bobby Tisdale, Slovin and Allen, and Ann Carr. Heather has been featured on MTV, the ECNY Awards as a nominee, as a IFC/Time Warner/Sundance competition finalist, Gawker, Adult Swim, Time Out NY, Dr. Phil, TV Guide Magazine, the LES Film Festival, DC Comedy Fest, Coney Island Film Festival, Atlanta UNDERGROUND Film Festival, Atlantic City Film Festival, LA Shorts Fest, LA Comedy Fest, NY Shorts Fest, Santa Fe Film Festival, and on Comedy Death Ray.

Marshall Stratton as "Ryan"

Marshall has been featured on ABC's WHAT WOULD YOU DO? NBC's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, TruTv's Hack My Life, Comedy Central's Atom TV, and Bio Channel's Celebrity Ghost Stories. He has appeared in a commercial for MTV and Pop Tarts. Stratton was the Republican class president Michael Jay in the Off-Broadway show, The Awesome 80's Prom. He's been featured in numerous online videos for Mashable, Michael Showalter Productions, Above Average, MTV Other, CH2, and UCB Comedy. The Memphis native has been written up in the Huffington Post, Splitsider, Betches Love This, Tubefilter, Decider, and IndyBuild. Stratton is a proud member of the UCB Harold Team, Dr. Snake. He is one half of the sketch duo Coker & Stratton, who won Best Actor and the Comedy Central Development Award at the 2015 New York Television Festival and the Special Jury Mention award at the 2015 Northside Film Festival for their web series, The Other Kennedys.

Christian Finnegan as "Gunter"

Christian is the creator and co-host of Black & White, a new comedy show on A&E. Christian is perhaps best known as one of the original panelists on VH1's "Best Week Ever" and as Chad, the only white roommate in "Chappelle's Show's" infamous "Mad Real World" sketch. He played Martin on the popular Syndicated sitcom "Are We There Yet?" and politics junkies will recognize Christian from his many appearances on "Countdown with Keith Olbermann". Over the past decade, Christian Finnegan has been a fixture on Comedy Central, having starred in his own one hour stand up special "Au Contraire!", as well as "Comedy Central Presents", "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and countless network interstitials. He's also appeared on "Conan", "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson", "Good Afternoon America" and "The Today Show". Christian's latest comedy special, "The Fun Part" was released on Netflix in April 2014. It's available on iTunes and Amazon, along with his first two albums, "Two for Flinching" and "Au Contraire!".

Ying Ying Li as "Tina"

Born in Beijing and raised in Winnipeg, Ying is a graduate of Yale and The Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC. Notable TV/Film credits include: the entrepreneurial Lin-Lin in seasons 1-2 of Steven Soderbergh's THE KNICK; an international student who gets caught up in the Occupy Movement in indie feature ALLURE ("lovely performances,"-NYT); and a co-star role in an upcoming Netflix action series. Ying writes and performs sketch comedy and is a proud member of The Tank's TV Writers Group. Having produced short video content for the NYT Local, AJ+, and corporate clients, she is currently working on her first documentary, "Its about grammer!"
