Robin Tunney Set to Star In ABC's Marcia Clark Drama THE FIX  Image

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Robin Tunney is set to star in the upcoming Marcia Cox drama pilot THE FIX alongside Scott Cohen and Breckin Meyer. The legal drama pilot from writers Elizabeth Crafts, Sarah Fain, and Marcia Clark

The Fix revolves around former prosecutor Maya Travis, who after losing the biggest case of her career and being shredded by the media, has left Los Angeles for a quiet life in rural Oregon. Eight years after her devastating defeat, the killer strikes again, forcing Maya to return to Los Angeles to confront him one more time. Will she play by the rules, or will she do whatever it takes to get him behind bars? Part legal thriller, part confessional, part revenge fantasy.

Tunney will star as Maya, who was the lead prosecuting attorney in a trial that gripped the nation. When the jury found Oscar-winning actor Sevvy Johnson innocent of a double murder, Maya was crushed by the shocking verdict. She left the profession - and Los Angeles - retreating to a quieter life on a horse ranch with her partner. When, eight years later, news breaks that Sevvy Johnson's girlfriend has been brutally killed, Maya makes the decision to return to L.A. to face her past, seek justice ... and win redemption.

Craft, Fain and Clark exec produce the ABC Studios drama alongside Mandeville's David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks. The cast includes Scott Cohen, Breckin Meyer, Merrin Merrin Dungey, Mouzam Makkar, Marc Blucas, Adam Rayner and Alex Saxon.

Robin Tunney stepped onto the film scene in the teen cult classics The Craft and EMPIRE Records. She then starred in the independent film Niagara, Niagara which earned her the Volpe Cup for Best Actress at the Venice International Film Festival and a Spirit Award Nomination for Best Lead Actress in a film. She also appeared in Allen Coulter's film Hollywoodland and Sundance favorites Cherish and The Secret Lives of Dentists, and won Best Actress at The Boston International Film Festival for her role in Mia Goldman's Open Window. Television credits include her role as Veronica Donovan on FOX Television's hit series "Prison Break" and the role of Theresa Lisbon on CBS' hit show "The Mentalist." Ms. Tunney is made her stage debut in Smokefall at MCC Theater.
