ABC and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are pulling out the stops for Hollywood's most spectacular night with "Oscars Opening Ceremony: Live From The Red Carpet," the exclusive, majestic, highly anticipated lead-in to the live telecast of the 87th Oscars hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, tonight, February 22.

In addition to showcasing the nominees, presenters and performers arriving on the red carpet, the 90-minute special will highlight the incredible journey many of the nominees have taken to get to Hollywood's most prestigious night. It also will give fans around the world the exclusive and ultimate insiders' view of Oscars festivities from the nominees' perspective.

Hosted by "Good Morning America" anchors Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer, "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" co-host Michael Strahan, and joined by Jess Cagle, Editorial Director of PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly and Yahoo! fashion editor Joe Zee, "Oscars Opening Ceremony: Live From The Red Carpet," airs tonight, February 22, beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC.

Oscar show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron tapped ABC's Lincoln Square Productions team to produce the red carpet show. It will be executive produced by John R. Green and directed by Jeff Winn.

The 87th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre®at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The Oscars, produced by Zadan and Meron, also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
