Irreverent, touching and funny, Let Go is an award-winning ensemble comedy that follows the intertwining stories of four individuals, a parole officer and three ex-convicts. It will be screened at The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, June 17, at 7:30 p.m. as a Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society Lost and Found Film Series event. Produced, written and directed by Brian Jett, the film stars Ed Asner, Kevin Hart, David Denman and Gillian Jacobs. Seven-time Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner and writer/director Brian Jett will be on hand for the Q&A tonight, June 17th, hosted by Emmy Award-winner Ira Joe Fisher.

Writer Brian Jett's directorial debut film is the story of Walter Dishman (David Denman), a melancholy parole officer struggling with the doldrums of married life, and three eccentric ex-convicts who were recently placed under his supervision. Darla DeMint (Gillian Jacobs), is a sultry femme fatale on the run from a psychopathic ex-boyfriend whom she stole from and whose heart she's broken. Seven-time Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner plays Artie Satz, a cranky geriatric criminal. Satz feebly attempts to resume his LIFE OF CRIME but?is continually thwarted when nobody will take?him seriously. Nearing rock bottom after his criminal conviction for insurance fraud and the break-up of his marriage, Kris Styles (Kevin Hart), an Ivy League educated African-American doctor, is forced to take the most menial JOBS imaginable to satisfy the conditions of his parole. Using the afflictions of modern love as a common thread, the stories build to a poignant climax as the characters struggle to free themselves from both literal and figurative bonds.
