The comedic duo of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels return in DUMB AND DUMBER TO! The film was written by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, and is a sequel to their 1994 comedy DUMB AND DUMBER.

The story takes place twenty years after the events of the first film, and we once again Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) on an epic adventure. This time around, the duo sets out to find Harry's long-lost daughter with the hopes of getting a new kidney.

Alongside Carrey and Daniels, the film features Laurie Holden, Kathleen Turner, Steve Tom, Rob Riggle, and Rachel Melven, with a cameo by Bill Murray.

Let's see what the critics had to say!

Manhola Dargis, The New York Times: To that end, as it were, this sequel is just, uh, packed, or perhaps smeared, with a whole lot of poop jokes...There's a story, but it doesn't matter, certainly not to the leads or the good-natured sidekicks like Kathleen Turner and Rob Riggle.

Andrew Barker, Variety: Sporadically very funny, mostly very tedious, and sometimes truly vile, this 18-years-too-late sequel nonetheless exhibits a certain puerile purity of purpose, and should accrue healthy profits playing to the nostalgia of the dumb and the dumb at heart.

Richard Corliss, Time: Like the Farrellys' recent botched attempt to revive the pummeling shenanigans of The Three Stooges, this movie breaks not only the canons of etiquette but of how to make people laugh. The usual methods are wit and surprise; the brothers go for aimless, charmless shock.

Joe Neumaier, New York Daily News: From junky production values to the parade of unfunny supporting characters to its lazy energy, "Dumb and Dumber To" falls on its face.

Jason Clark, Entertainment Weekly: ...the material feels more desperate than funny...Carrey and Daniels are forced to wring this middling material so hard they must have calluses.

Scott Mendelson, Forbes: Dumb and Dumber To is probably the worst film the Farrelly Bros. have ever made, but I absolutely believe that their next one will be better.

Jordan Hoffman, The Guardian: The picture lasts an hour and 50 minutes but it feels like three days. It is annoying and exhausting, and I honestly couldn't tell you whether or not this is part of the Farrellys' twisted design.

Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Gate: Either out of nostalgia, or a sense of loyalty, or some epic misreading of the script, or a payday beyond the dreams of most mere mortals, Carrey and Daniels agreed to appear in this ghastly sequel, which is more than just not funny. "King Lear" isn't funny. This is anti-funny, where every attempt at a joke is like a little rock thrown at your face.

John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter: When the gags a movie is most confident in - the ones it uses three or four times, as if they were sure things - involve pushing unsuspecting pedestrians into a bush or riffing on "Bond, James Bond," something's wrong in the yuk factory.

Matt Singer, Screen Crush: If you're too good to laugh at the sight of a cat pooping feathers, you should probably seek entertainment elsewhere.
