Return of SOUTH PARK & More Set for Comedy Central's Fall Programming Schedule

The #1 brand in comedy's fall schedule is jam-packed with returning fan favorites and new series and specials from the biggest names in comedy. The fall is highlighted by the historic 20th season of "South Park" and series premieres of "Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City," following Kevin Hart as he travels to different cities to explore the local comedy scenes and introduces some of the newest voices in comedy today, and "Legends of Chamberlain Heights," which centers on three high-school basketball benchwarmers: Jamal, Grover and Milk, three freshman friends tackling life with some wins and some losses. The coming months also promise exciting new seasons of "Drunk History," "The Half Hour," "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail," "This Is Not Happening" and "Tosh.0," as well as original stand-up specials from Pete Davidson, Kyle Kinane and Jeff Ross. In addition, "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" returns with new episodes after Labor Day and "@midnight with Chris Hardwick" takes over a new timeslot.

On the digital front, Comedy Central will premiere a new short form series "Typical Rick," along with new seasons of "Alternatino," "Nothin's Easy" and "Questionable Science," available for streaming on digital platforms including cc.com and the Comedy Central App. Comedy Central on Snapchat Discover also continues to roll out original content including "Keepin' a Brother Down," which breaks down how seemingly innocent things are keeping black folks down.

"The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" (New Episodes Return) - 11:00 p.m.

"The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" returns with all new episodes on Tuesday, September 6 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The fresh incarnation of the Emmy(R) and Peabody(R) Award-winning series kicks off eleven straight weeks of all-new episodes leading up to and throughout the 2016 Presidential Election. "The Daily Show" continues its coverage of the day's news and events with the incisive and insightful humor of Noah and the incredibly talented roster of "The Best F*&#ing News Team!" including Ronny Chieng, Jordan Klepper, Desi Lydic, Hasan Minhaj and Roy Wood Jr.

"@midnight with Chris Hardwick" (New Episodes Return) - 11:30 p.m.

"@midnight with Chris Hardwick" returns at a new time with all new episodes beginning on Tuesday, September 6 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. The Emmy(R)-Award winning multiplatform late night series celebrates everything the internet dishes up on a nightly basis by taking on the best pop culture moments that the worlds of social and digital have to offer. During each episode, Hardwick leads three panelists through a series of meme-worthy topics in a fast-paced survey of the day online. The world's best comedic minds compete against each other in segments like Etsy Pitchmen, Buzzspeed, Panderdome and our signature Hashtag Wars, skewering how pop and politics use and abuse social media, as they vie to win the Internet.

"South Park" (Season Twenty Premiere) - 10:00 p.m.

130 Countries. 30 Languages. 46 Million Facebook Fans. 5 Emmys(R). 4 Boys. 1 Town. "South Park's" been there. The Emmy(R) and Peabody(R) Award-winning series' kicks off its historic 20th season with 10 all-new episodes beginning on Wednesday, September 14 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. "Legends of Chamberlain Heights" (Series Premiere) - 10:30 p.m.

"Legends of Chamberlain Heights" is an urban animated series mixing raucous comedy and social commentary that centers on three high school freshman basketball benchwarmers: Jamal, Grover, and Milk. The three friends tackle life with some wins and some losses, but failure doesn't faze them since they're legends... even if it's just in their own minds.

Tuesday, September 27

"Tosh.0" (Season Eight Continues) - 10:00 p.m.

"Tosh.0" features razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh. The weekly, topical series, delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious, with episodes featuring popular recurring segments like "Video Breakdown," "20 Seconds on the Clock," and the series' signature "Web Redemption," in which Tosh gives subjects of notorious viral videos a SECOND CHANCE to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous.

"Drunk History" (Season Four Premiere) - 10:30 p.m.

The Emmy Award-winning "Drunk History" features inebriated storytellers recounting events from history, while A-list talent reenact the anecdotes and lip sync the dialogue with unforgettable results. In the upcoming season 4, each episode will be focused on a theme including "Spies," "Great Escapes" and "Legends."

Wednesday, September 28

"The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail" (Season Three Premiere) - 12:30 a.m.

The third season will consist of eight episodes shot documentary style at THE NERDIST Showroom in the back of Meltdown Comics, Los Angeles' premiere comic book store. "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail" captures some of the biggest names in comedy as they experiment with new bits onstage and hang out backstage. The series also features intimate and hilarious backstage moments with comedians and celebrities who stop by just to hang out in the green room.

Sunday, October 2

"Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City" (Series Premiere) - 11:30 p.m.

This eight-episode series follows Kevin Hart as he travels to different cities to explore the local comedy scenes in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Birmingham, Miami and Sacramento. Hart will introduce some of the newest voices in comedy today.

Thursday, October 13

"This Is Not Happening" (Season Three Premiere) - 12:30 a.m.

Comedy Central's raucous storytelling series hosted by Ari Shaffir, "This Is Not Happening," is back at it again with a killer line-up of the best true-life, long-form storytellers. The third season will feature stories from Sofiya Alexandra, Gastor Almonte, LOUIE Anderson, Maria Bamford, Greg Behrendt, Lavell Crawford, Joey Diaz, Greg Fitzsimmons, Sean Flannery, Al Jackson, Pete Johansson, Andy Kindler, Bert Kreischer, Joe List, Julian McCullough, Bonnie McFarlane, Big Jay Oakerson, Russell Peters, Brian Regan, Dave Ross, Rory Scovel, Scruncho, Ryan Sickler, Steve Simeone, Doug Stanhope, Dan St. Germain, Nick Thune, Liza Treyger, Sal Vulcano, Andrew W.K. and more!

"Jeff Ross Roasts Cops" - Saturday, September 10 at 11:00 p.m.

"Jeff Ross Roasts Cops" follows Ross during filmed ride-alongs with Boston police, interviews with top police brass (including Commissioner William B. Evans), Roast sets at BPD events and inside the precinct, real-time on-site interviews with anti-police brutality protesters in New York, and casual conversation and improvised banter on the streets of Boston with everyday citizens. Investigating both sides of police-community relations, Ross uses comedy to seek out the humanity within one of America's most controversial issues.

"Kyle Kinane: Loose in Chicago" - Saturday, October 15 at Midnight

Kyle Kinane brings his easy charm and off-kilter observations to his third one-hour special, Loose in Chicago. Kinane talks about why his girlfriend doesn't need to worry about him cheating, reveals the whitest thing he's ever said and explains why you have to keep fashion in mind if you insist on carrying a gun.

"Pete Davidson: SMD" - Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 p.m.

Filmed in front of a sold-out hometown crowd in New York City, "SMD" is the first Comedy Central stand-up special from Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson. The special is filled with Davidson's unfiltered, brutally honest anecdotes about smoking a Snoop Dog amount of weed, texting his mom dick pics, and his issue with male porn stars. From his stint in "prehab" to this one time at a Justin Bieber concert, Davidson proves that even at 22, he and his friends have had some high times and heavy experiences.

SHORT FORM SERIES (Premiere Dates TBD)

"Alternatino" - (Season Two Premiere)

This Comedy Central multiplatform sketch series returns to follow "Broad City's" Arturo Castro as he attempts to examine life as a modern Latino - whatever that means. Directed by Tim Bierbaum. Ari Pearce and Jose Acevedo are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

"Nothin's Easy" - (Season Two Premiere)

David Angelo (Shark Week, "The Daily Show") is a writer/performer in the comedic sweet spot between "world-weary bitterness" and "being found unresponsive in a bus terminal." Following up on the success of the first season of the Comedy Central digital series written by Angelo and directed by Sam Sklaver ("Blunt Talk"), "Nothin's Easy" continues its extraordinary run of finding the tragedy in any funny situation. The three episode season features John MULANEY in each episode.

"Typical Rick" - (Series Premiere)

An Entourage meets Odd Couple-esque saga following a dramatic actor who finally decides to move from the remote midwest to pursue his dreams in Hollywood, but is constantly derailed by his stoner best friend, that he invited along, who inadvertently steals his thunder. Nick Swardson stars as struggling thespian "Gary" while Simon Rex plays the titular "Rick". The six episode series is directed by Nicholaus Goossen and written by Swardson & Goossen.

"Questionable Science" - (Season Two Premiere)

This Comedy Central digital series stars Rich Fulcher as "Professor Rich" and his Unfocused Group as they struggle to answer some of science's most baffling mysteries. In season two, "Professor Rich" once again heads into uncharted scientific waters asking real scientists really dumb questions. Written by Doug Karo and Fulcher and co-directed by Nick Corirossi and Charles Ingram. Jordan Ellner is the Executive in Charge for Comedy Central.

COMEDY CENTRAL ON SNAPCHAT DISCOVER (Premiere Date TBD)

"Keepin' a Brother Down" - (Series Premiere)

The sketch team Black Men Can't Jump (Jerah Milligan, James III and Jonathan Braylock) breaks down how seemingly innocent things are keeping black folks down.
