Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain will make his first visit to the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Friday, Nov. 18 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, in addition to the many other big-name guests visiting the broadcast next week.
Cain, a syndicated columnist, former radio talk show host and president and CEO of the Godfather's Pizza chain, has a run a unique presidential campaign thus far, marking him as one of the front-runners for the 2012 Republican nomination. Most recently, a campaign ad featuring his chief of staff, Mark Block, smoking a cigarette drew the attention of Letterman, who has parodied the ad on the LATE SHOW frequently.
Other notables appearing on the LATE SHOW next week include actor Jason Segel, star of the CBS comedy series "How I Met Your Mother" and writer and star of the new film "The Muppets," chef Jamie Oliver and musical guests The Kooks (Monday, Nov. 14); comedian and talk show host Bill Maher, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" star Nikki Reed and musical guest Drake (Tuesday, Nov. 15); comedian Jerry Seinfeld and musical guest Lykke Li (Wednesday, Nov. 16); talk show legend and frequent LATE SHOW guest Regis Philbin who, the following day, will step down as the longtime co-host of "Live!
