Today, SeriousFun Children's Network (seriousfunnetwork.org) announced the all-star lineup for their Los Angeles Gala that will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre. The Gala, "An Evening of SeriousFun Celebrating the Legacy of Paul Newman," will honor founder Paul Newman's philanthropic legacy, and will feature appearances and performances by Burt Bacharach, Annette Bening, Natalie Cole, Danny DeVito, Anjelica Huston, Carole King, Jay Leno, Renée Zellweger, SeriousFun campers, and more to be announced.

The evening will benefit SeriousFun Children's Network, a growing global community of 30 camps and programs serving children living with serious illnesses and their families, always free of charge. Founded by Paul Newman in 1988, SeriousFun has served more than 600,000 children and family members from more than 50 countries since its inception. Each member camp is an independent not-for-profit organization dependent upon private funding to serve all children at no cost to their families.

The Los Angeles Gala will be the second of three galas the organization is hosting this year to honor Paul Newman's legacy during what would have been his 90th year. The Los Angeles gala comes on the heels of the immensely successful New York City gala, which took place on March 2nd. The New York City Gala featured moving tributes to Paul Newman from close friends and SeriousFun supporters, including: Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Aloe Blacc, and Renée Fleming, to name a few. The third and final gala is scheduled to take place in London on November 3, 2015, with additional details to be announced at a future date.

Newman's Own Foundation, SeriousFun's signature supporter, has been providing generous support to camps and programs around the world since the Network's inception. Abercrombie & Fitch is the proud corporate sponsor for all three galas.

The Galas will all be produced by Lou Adler and Kevin Duncan. Adler and his wife Page co-founded The Painted Turtle with Newman, the SeriousFun Camp located in Southern California.

Individual show tickets for the Los Angeles Gala may be purchased through Ticketmaster (http://www.ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000) and range in price from $40 to $200. Exclusive benefit tickets, including an after-party, begin at $1,000.

Funds raised at the galas directly benefit the Network's camps and programs. Facilities and programming at SeriousFun camps are specially-designed to meet the medical needs of campers, ensuring that all campers can participate in activities, such as soaring down a zip line, exploring ropes courses, cultivating creativity with arts and crafts, bonding over music, and s'mores at campfires.
