Variety reports that Disney and Lucasfilm have announced details of the upcoming STAR WARS film, subtitled 'The Force Awakens' at its annual shareholders meeting in San Francisco. The studios shared that Rian Johnson will write and direct Star Wars: Episode VIII, which will arrive in theaters May 26, 2017.
