Rare View Films LLC is excited to announce that "Method or Madness", an award winning comedic improvised web series, has launched on blip.tv. Season One will consist of eight episodes that will be airing on Mondays this fall.
"Method or Madness" follows Nikki and Gerard, zany New York natives and aspiring actors. Their unreserved nature, unconventional friendship and periods of unemployment make them magnets for peculiar situations. The episodes are improvised by the actors from an outline created by Nikki Gold and Gerard Bianco Jr.
All episodes are under five minutes long. The improvisation structure of the series is in a similar style to Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." The relationship of Nikki and Gerard has been explained as a Jerry and Elaine ("Seinfeld") meets Lucy and Ethel ("I Love Lucy").
"We are very much inspired by our lives in New York City. A lot of funny things happen in a city filled with over eight million people" says the shows creators. Also the Gold and Bianco add, "we stand apart from other web series with our improvised structure, which makes our comedy natural and relatable. And season one is filled with over 30 different characters all of which are extremely fun and diverse."
