WEDNESDAY NIGHT RIVALRY - BRUINS-RANGERS AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
The Bruins (31-11-8, 70 pts) have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL during the past two months. Boston carried an 18-game point streak (14-0-4) into Tuesday's game against Anaheim before falling to the Ducks by a score of 3-1, their first regulation loss since Dec. 14. Goaltender Tuukka Rask has carried the Bruins during their impressive run, posting an 18-0-2 record in his past 20 starts. Boston sits five points behind Tampa Bay (75 pts) for the top spot in the Eastern Conference, and visits Detroit tomorrow night.
The Rangers (25-22-5, 55 pts) aim to bounce back against the Dallas Stars tonight following consecutive losses to the Toronto Maple Leafs and NASHVILLE Predators. Through 52 games, Michael Grabner leads the team in goals (21).
In their most recent matchup, New York's Mats Zuccarello netted the game-winner in overtime to beat the Bruins 3-2 in Boston on Dec. 16.
Mike 'Doc' Emrick (play-by-play), Andy Brickley (analyst), and Joe Micheletti ('Inside-the-Glass' analyst) will call Bruins-Rangers from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
WILD-BLUES - TOMORROW AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
The Wild (28-19-5, 61 pts) are 4-2-0 in their last six games, including a 5-2 win over the Western Conference-leading Vegas Golden Knights on Friday. Eric Staal recorded two goals and an assist in the victory, and currently leads the team in both goals (22) and points (46).
The Blues (32-19-3, 67 pts) defeated the Buffalo Sabres, 1-0, on Saturday to improve to 4-1-0 in their last five games. Carter Hutton made 27 saves and Carl Gunnarsson recorded the lone goal of the game in the third period. Brayden Schenn leads the team outright in points (51) and is tied for first in goals (21) with Vladimir Tarasenko.
The Central Division rivals last met on Dec. 2, when Minnesota defenseman Matt Dumba scored in overtime to give the Wild a 2-1 in St. Paul.
John Forslund (play-by-play) and Darren Pang ('Inside-the-Glass' analyst) will call Wild-Blues from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.

NBCSN's 2017-18 COLLEGE HOCKEY coverage continues Friday with a Big Ten clash between Notre Dame and Ohio State. The Fighting Irish (21-5-2) are 2-0-1 in their last three games. Jake Evans leads the team with 31 points.
The Buckeyes (18-6-4) are 4-1-0 on their last five games, with wins coming against Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State.
