Deadline reports that, shortly after accepting his Academy Award for best actor, Rami Malek slipped and fell near the stage at the Dolby Theatre.
The Los Angeles Times says Malek did not actually sustain any injury. Malek seemed stunned, and those around him moved him to a seat in the front row where he was discreetly treated by medical staffers on hand.
Malek was doing better at the Governors Ball after the event; he was seen popping bottles of champagne to celebrate his win.
Malek won his first Oscar for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.
