Disney Channel will present a new "Disney Friends for Change" interstitial featuring its popular series star Raini Rodriguez ("Austin and Ally"), as she visits a Los Angeles workshop focused on inspiring teens to embrace leadership and take a stand against bullying. The interstitial will be presented in rotation beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8.
Rodriguez participated in a series of workshops designed to give youth leaders a deeper understanding of their leadership styles and empower them to walk away knowing their actions can change the world. Filmed at Griffith Park in Los Angeles during the Free the Children Leadership Academy, the interstitial highlights how to communicate with others in a positive way to help prevent bullying.
Kids and families are invited to visit Disney.com/Friends for a downloadable bullying prevention kit, helpful tips and more information about how to prevent bullying.
