Variety reports today that stage and screen star Rachel Weisz will re-team with The Constant Gardner director Fernando Meirelles on his newest film, 360. The film is written by Peter Morgan. Austrian broadcaster ORF and BBC Films will present 360, which is being produced by Andrew Eaton and David Linde.
Of the story, Variety writes: "...the pic that follows pairs of characters and their sexual encounters. Project is based on the 1900 play "Reigen" that inspired French drama "La Ronde" and has provided the dramatic structure for scores of plays and films."
No production details have been released.
Rachel Weisz won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in 'The Constant Gardener.' Her other film credits include 'About a Boy,' 'Constantine,' 'Enemy at the Gates,' 'Sunshine,' and 'The Mummy.' On stage, she has appeared in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (for which she won an Olivier Award), SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER, THE SHAPE OF THINGS, and DESIGN FOR LIVING.
