Actress Rachael Meyers joins the all-new Season 3 of the hit Netflix series UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT. Streaming online beginning May 19th, Meyers emerges as 'Josie' alongside Ellie Kemper.

From creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock (both of 30 ROCK fame), UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT follows Kimmy (Kemper) after being rescued from a doomsday cult and starting her life over again in New York City. The third season takes Kimmy on a whole new adventure - college. Having earned a GED, this always optimistic thirty-something decides to continue her education, even if "they don't have recess." Meyers steps into the storyline as 'Josie', a fellow student Kimmy befriends along the way.

Meyers was thrilled at the chance to work on the popular series, sharing "It was an absolute dream to work in New York City. I've wanted to my entire life, and to have that experience on this show with these people, it was perfect. I mean, stepping onto set and the first outstretched hand is that of Tina Fey? It kicks it to a whole other level."

Originally from Oklahoma City, this 6'2" former collegiate athlete has become an award-winning actress and singer. Fans will recognize her from her recent appearances on ABC's popular comedy series FRESH OFF THE BOAT and Disney's celebrated family series Dog with a Blog. On stage, Meyers gained attention for her roles in the 2012 Ovation-nominated play The Elephant Man and Torrance Theater Company's critically acclaimed musical Chicago, in which StageSceneLA touted her as "a towering beacon of goodness".

Meyers has also built a stellar reputation as an award-winning director, writer and producer under her RM Productions banner. In 2012, she received the Young Artist Development Award from Chaspen Foundation for the Arts. Meyers' directorial debut, the comedy adventure short film Highway 15, earned critical attention and numerous awards on the festival circuit, including 'Best Direction'. She recently won 'Best Short Film' for her dramatic short My Brother's Keeper and Chénmò de péngyou was recognized at the Best Shorts Competition and IndieFEST Film Awards.

Rachael Meyers is represented by bicoastal agency The Polygon Group.
