According to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is currently making plans to bring the Looney Tunes gang back to the big screen with Steve Carell attached to star in a CG/live-action hybrid; not unlike Michael Jordan did in the last major Looney Tunes film SPACE JAM.
While little is known about the plot currently, there is some debate over to the level of which Looney Tunes characters would be involved. The script reportedly centers on the Acme Corporation, maker of all useless products that never seem to work properly when you need them.
Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, who wrote X-Men: First Class, are on board to pen the script, while Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who directed Carell in CRAZY STUPID LOVE, are in negotiations to direct.
