On last night's episode of Bravo TV's WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE, hosted by Andy Cohen, it was revealed that Nene Leakes, star of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta', will be making a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of Fox's 'Glee'.
LIVE's special guests, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer announced that Leakes will be a guest star on their award-winning show and will play the role of McKinley High's swim coach. Revealed Michele, "We found out that her real name was Linnethia... which I am obsessed with now. She's awesome. She plays the new swim coach... We literally raided her trailer."
Colfer went on to explain that Leakes will play the role of Roz Washington, who will lead the school's synchronized swim team. Among the members of the team is Sam, played by actor Chord Overstreet. According to Overstreet, viewers can anticipate some musical numbers a la Esther Williams at poolside this season. "Synchronized swimming is probably more of a sport that you'd get made fun of for," Overstreet explained.
GLEE returns to Fox at 8 p.m. ET on January 17th.
